INA–Franklin Templeton Collaboration in Establishing a Private Asset Fund in Indonesia

Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund (SWF), and Franklin Templeton, one of the world's investment managers are working together to examine the establishment of private asset funds and co-investments in Indonesia. 

Within the framework of this MoU, INA and Franklin Templeton are examining the potential for the establishment and management of a private asset fund, a pooled investment vehicle designed to channel global institutional capital into the private market in Indonesia, as well as joint investment opportunities in various strategic sectors in Indonesia.

“This initiative is not solely about capital mobilization, but building a credible and well-managed channel that fosters trust, facilitates knowledge exchange, and positions Indonesia as a competitive and reliable investment destination,” said INA Chairman of the Board Ridha Wirakusumah.
